JOB/ROLE PURPOSE: Performs clerical accounting functions of moderate difficulty pertaining to accounts payables, document imaging scanning, filing, organizing, and other related functions.
Performs accounting work involving compilation, consolidation, and analysis of financial data.
May include any or all of the following: invoices, ledgers and preparation of journal entries, fixed asset or inventory accounting, bank account reconciliation.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES/DELIVERABLES OUTCOMES:Processes invoices for payment using three-way match.Interacts with vendors and Purchasing on discrepant invoices (invoices which fail the three-way match).Scans voucher packages using document imaging resource.Files scanned vouchers.Processes vendor invoices for the company, obtaining appropriate approvals and coding to appropriate general ledger accounts in order to ensure proper classification in the financial statements.Compiles data and prepares journal entries for month-end accruals and reclasses in order to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the financial statements.Makes judgement decisions based upon sound accounting principles.REQUIREMENTS:KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE (studies, experience, languages, others):1 to 3 years of experience in bookkeeping and/or preparing financial statements.Intermediate English Level.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.SKILLS & ABILITIES:Ability to analyze and solve problems.Ability to perform highly detailed work on multiple, concurrent tasks.Ability to prioritize work under pressure.Ability to work in a self-directed manner.Proven teamwork skills.
