Accounts Payable Assistant - Property Responsible to: Team Leader – Property Accounts Payable Department: Finance Location: Balmoral House, Bury Hours: 40 hrs per week Role Overview: Accurate processing of UK property related invoices to an agreed standard. Resolve various property related queries. Complete account reconciliations where necessary. This role is within the accounts payable property team which currently consists of 3 people. Key Duties/Responsibilities: Accurate coding and recording of rent, service charge and insurance invoices onto the property control spreadsheet. Processing of property related invoices onto Oracle to agreed standards, including rent, service charge, business insurance, B.I.D invoices, rates and rates adjustment. Resolve Landlord and Council queries, chasing outstanding documentation as required, in a timely manner. Collaborate with various internal stakeholders to resolve queries to stipulated timelines. Reconciliation of statements / completion statements, chasing Councils for refunds where relevant. Skills/Experience/Knowledge needed: Minimum of twelve months experience of working within a fast-paced Accounts Payable environment Ability to achieve high levels of processing accuracy whilst working under pressure. Strong communication skills. Previous experience of Oracle/ MS office would be advantageous.
