The Team As part of the Global Accounting Operations team, you will report into the Manager of Global Accounts Payable based in Madrid and play a key role in supporting Celonis reach operational excellence within our dynamic and growing finance operations department. The Role As an Accounts Payable Analyst, you will support the team in processing global Accounts Payable invoices and drive high levels of customer service to our internal and external stakeholders by handling queries and following up on requests. You will act as key contact for all supplier and payment queries, working closely with various stakeholders in the business as well as collaborating with other finance teams to handle ad hoc queries and requests. The work you'll do Process invoices into the ERP system (Workday) - enter invoices into the system, check them, match them against PO's and execute payments. Communication with multiple internal/external stakeholders such as suppliers, or the treasury department. Handle incoming requests on payment status, vendor set-up or general queries around our Accounts Payable process. Delivering a constant high level "customer" experience by handling requests from Celonis management, employees or suppliers, always responding in a timely manner. Ensure correct expenses assignments (correct GL and VAT codes) and work closely with the Accounting and Tax team to constantly improve ways of working. Support the Accounts Payable team with ad-hoc requests as well as regular audit requests. Work on process improvement within the Accounts Payable process to help drive scalability. The qualifications you need BA and/or MA Degree preferably in Finance, Economics or similar. Ideally 1+ years experience in accounting / financial administration. Eager to learn and keen to deliver best in class customer experience to internal and external stakeholders of Celonis (suppliers, customers, employees).
