what we're looking for We are looking for a Accounting Technician of our Headquarters Office located in Azuqueca de Henares.
The role of the GA & Tax Specialist is to manage the day to day activities of the GA & Tax Specialist areas within the business to ensure they tasks are delivered accurately and on time.
This includes provide accounting support to major financial accounting areas, including the accounts payable desk, general ledger accounting, account reconciliation and tax-related issues.
Main Respobnsabilities: Prepare accounting according to local regulations, Asset Management, Taxes and insurance, travel expense management and coordination of a Shared Service provider abroad.
Prepare and support monthly group reporting's according to group regulations and procedures.
Allocate costs to the correct General Ledger, department and correct period, by managing and booking the accruals.
Prepare and fill VAT declarations and keep VAT knowledge up to date.
Prepare statutory accounts.
Prepare monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts (blackline).
Prepare supporting documentation for internal, external and tax audits.
Reponses to the local authorities upon requests such as Banco de España, INE and others Desired candidate profile: Professional education in Finance and Accounting At least 5 years of experience in similar position in a multinational environment Good knowledge in Accounting Systems and IT tools to establish and develop reporting (Excel).
