Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist for our client, an american multinational company to oversee the financial management and accounting operations of the Headquarters Legal Entity.
This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial reporting (US and Local GAAP), efficient budgeting, and effective cost control while driving compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for the accounting of the Headquarters Legal Entity (US and Local GAAP), budgeting, results control, and cost rebilling.Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, SOX, and regulatory requirements.Perform account reconciliations (bank accounts, balance sheets, ledgers).Develop accurate monthly forecasts and identify risks/opportunities.Support Month, Quarter, and Year-end close processesPrepare Operational Plans and assist with FP&A management presentations.Identify and implement financial process improvements.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.5+ years of experience in Finance within international organizations.Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.Team player with a collaborative mindset in matrix organizations.High attention to detail, confidentiality, and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, and Hyperion.Fluency in English and Spanish; German is a plus.If you thrive in a dynamic, international environment and excel at optimizing financial processes, we invite you to join the team.
