Thisposition will be reporting to the Italian Finance Director giving support toour Italian business. However the position will be located in Moralzarzal -Madrid.
Thecandidate will prepare autonomously the monthly financial statement of thecompany and will manage the daily accounting activities ensuring the integrityof the accounting information by verifying and recording transactions. He orshe will also prepare purchase orders and manage procurement process,including vendor master file and request of quotations to suppliers.
Key Responsibilities: Manage the elaboration of the yearly statutory reports in accordance withSpanish Gaap and of the monthly financial statements in accordance with IFRSGAAP.Prepare the monthly and quarterly closings.Review general ledger account reconciliations and variance explanations.Lead in implementing appropriate internal controls and process improvementsAssist with the month-end close of the business department.Interact directly with auditors to discuss and resolve accounting issues in atimely manner.Prepare purchase orders and collect bids from suppliers.Manage vendor master file and maintain records related to contracts andpurchase activities.Manage the daily accounting/back-office activities such as: sales orders andinvoices generation, purchase and sales invoices booking, journal entries,treasury activities (payments and collections), bank reconciliation, VATsettlement. Job requirements Qualifications: Degree in Business, Finance or similar. With 4+ years of experience in amultinational company and fast-moving environment.Fluent in English and Spanish.
