You keep an eye on all finance and cross-functional topics and are responsible for continuous process optimization within the accounting team and the entire group.
In this role, you ensure fresh impulses are implemented.
Competent support.
You are in close contact with the accounting team to assist with accounting related issues and queries and support during the year-end closing.
Diverse day-to-day business tasks.
Along with the operations team, you are responsible for our group consolidation, accounting manual, serve as a contact for our ERP product owner, and manage various interfaces to our other internal systems and external service providers.
Accounting Projects.
You take responsibility for individual projects in the accounting area (such as expansion, new systems, setting up standards and structures).
Reliable contact.
You serve as the central point of contact during audits and you are in regular contact with our external providers.
VERY IMPORTANT FOR US.
You have completed a bachelor's or master's degree in business administration with excellent grades, ideally specializing in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
You have already gained at least 3 years relevant professional experience in the field of finance in an international environment, ideally in auditing.
You have a strong affinity for modern software tools.
Ideally, you are familiar with common ERP/financial accounting systems.
You have good knowledge of international accounting standards (ideally US-GAAP) and enjoy dealing with new issues.
When working on your own area, you always maintain an overview of the whole picture and set high standards for your own work results.
You are strong in communication and fluent in business-level English.
