This position will undertake all aspects of accounting, as well as establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal control policies and procedures. Ample's future Accounting Manager will join a growing team of dynamic professionals and report directly to Ample's Head of Finance.Responsibilities:Prepare monthly close entries and reconciliation, which includes but is not limited to bank reconciliation, reconcile A/P and receivables, payroll reconciliation, etc.Prepare financial statements on a timely basis.Manage cost accounting for internally produced assets.Track deployment and depreciation of internally produced assets.Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.Educate the team on Accounting policies and procedures as appropriate.Compute and prepare tax and other filings as required by Spanish authorities.Required Skills and Qualifications:English proficiency is required, written and oral.Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting; ACCA qualification or CPA preferred.3+ years of experience at the Sr. Accountant level, and 2+ years of Audit experience in a public accounting firm.In-depth knowledge of Spanish GAAP is required; IFRS, and/or US GAAP is a plus.Proficient in the use of MS Office (especially Excel) and financial management software (e.g., Expensify).Experience in a start-up environment in either hardware or software industries is a plus.Impeccable analytical and organizational skills.Self-motivated, self-directed, and excited to step outside the role and help in various ways.We are an equal opportunity and E-verified Employer and value diversity at our company.
