Accounting Manager

As part of Mazars' strategic move to create a centralized service to serve clients across Europe, we have created a Global Compliance & Reporting service with teams, processes, and technology that allows multinational groups to meet all their accounting, tax, payroll, and legal obligations and commitments, both locally and internationally while having accurate information centralized and delivered from our Center of Excellence (CoE).
We are hiring an Accounting Manager to join this strongly growing team in Barcelona.
This is an opportunity to contribute to a strategic project at Mazars and to work in an English-speaking and truly international environment with a high number of countries across Europe.

Your mission:
Direct interaction with the different clientsReview of reporting, analytical accounting, treasury forecasts, as well as any additional information requested by the clientEnsure all deliverables are sent on time and manner to the clientFollow-up and planning of team's activities to ensure effective deliveryTraining and support to all professionalsOrganize and manage time and resources to answer client's demandParticipate actively in the recruitment processEnsure and control the productivity of the team as well as the profitability of the projectParticipate in the Business development strategy and planBe the main contact of the CoE with the rest of Mazars partners and colleaguesYour profileBachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, economics, or similarAdditional courses and knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and Tax are valuableMinimum 5-8 years' working experience in a multinational environment.Experience in Big4 or similar in Spain is an asset.Experience in team managementHigh knowledge of ERP (SAP, Oracle, Navision, or similar) and ExcelGood oral and written communication in English (B2 or higher)Interest and ability to multi-task in a multi-disciplinary environmentAbility to prioritize workload and ability to work with strict reporting deadlinesYour values are our values!
