.Accounting Manager CPA (preferably w/ external audit and FS prep experience)We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in External Audit, Financial Statement preparation, and previous experience in the Real Estate industry. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing leadership to the accounting team.Key Responsibilities:Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.Coordinate and oversee the annual external audit process, ensuring compliance with audit requirements and deadlines.Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of financial goals and objectives.Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.Stay current on accounting regulations and best practices, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and standards.Handle special projects and ad hoc reporting as assigned by senior management.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in AccountancyMinimum of 2-3 years of experience in External Audit and Financial Statement preparation.2-3 years working experience in a supervisory rolePrevious experience in the Real Estate industry.Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Your application will include the following questions: How many years' experience do you have as a General Accounting Manager?
