Aspire Software is hiring for a Finance Manager / Qualified Financial Accountant to join our growing finance team and play a mission-critical role in helping to shape and develop two of our enterprise software companies in Spain.
The Finance Manager / Qualified Financial Accountant will be responsible for driving all financial activities within these two subsidiary companies.

The successful candidate will be based in Barcelona working in a hybrid work model!
What Your Day Will Look Like :
Perform financial period close tasks and journal entries / accounting analysis
Perform Balance Sheet analysis and reviews, including reconciliations of accounts
Perform variance analysis of actual results vs. financial plans (budgets and forecasts)
Fully responsible for AR / AP / Month End
Working closely with the Managing Directors to understand their business and needs
Working closely with the Head of Finance to ensure group reporting and compliance is completed accurately and on time
Own P&Ls;, ensuring accuracy and delivery on a timely basis
Participate in the completion of audit engagements and compliance requirements
Assist with VAT Returns and the accuracy of VAT reporting
Analyze and discuss KPIs
Manage a local Finance team
Participate in special projects and process improvements
About You :
Qualified Financial Accountant with at least 3+ years post-qualification experience in Financial Accounting or Audit
At least a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a similar discipline is essential
Advanced Excel skills
A genuinely curious mindset, capable of quickly learning new systems, and the desire to grow and develop over time
Organized and detail-oriented
Strong time management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines
Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
Resourceful and will take initiative
A team player who loves a challenge and wants to eventually own' their area of the business
Someone who is driven by life-long learning and continuous professional development
A detail-oriented self-starter who thrives on process improvement and solving problems
A first experience in Oracle NetSuite and PowerBI environment is a plus
Fast learner and adaptable time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Fluent in Spain and have at least a professional level of English, both written and verbal, is essential
Legally authorized to work in Spain
