Who are we looking for: As an Accounting Assistant, you are expected to provide support to the finance and accounting team in various accounting and financial tasks. You will maintain accurate financial records, process transactions, and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures. You will also help in maintaining business registration and handle all compliance and regulatory requirements of local taxing authorities.
Analyze different company accounts and prepare necessary adjusting journal entries. Prepare vouchers and checks. Maintain an up-to-date billing system. Reconcile advances to/from affiliates. Prepare monthly and quarterly VAT schedules for remittance. Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly BIR returns and other tax matters. Prepare government remittances. Perform other related tasks as may be assigned from time to time. What does it take to be part of the team? Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Accounting Management, Financial Management, or in a related field. At least 6 months of working experience in accounting and taxes is preferred. Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Basic understanding of financial principles and regulations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
