Purpose of the Role: Accounting and Tax Coordinator with high experience in multicompany environments.
This position will lead the accounting area, being the owner of the statutory balance sheet and profit & loss statements of the legal entities of the Group in Europe with a high level of operational execution.
Responsibilities : Lead the monthly accounting closing of the 7 legal entities of the Group in Europe.
Monthly postings in the accounting system such as provisions, balance sheet reclassifications, CAPEX amortization, etc.
Cost Center P&L accounting.
Coordination of the internal accounting team and the outsourced team.
Ensure all the tax liabilities are properly recognized and all the tax returns are processed on time.
(VAT, Income Tax, international Transfer pricing rules) Intercompany invoicing process.
Full Balance sheet and P&L monthly review.
Maintain and define accounting policies and procedures according to the internal guidelines.
Requirements: Minimum requirements: At least 5 years' experience in a multinational environment.
Financial Close experience .
Deep knowledge in Spanish Gaap and IFRS standards.
Used to work with tight deadlines with a problem-solving mindset.
Fluent English speaker is a must.
Spanish desirable.
Financial Statement preparation.
Microsoft Excel advanced user.
Value added requirements : SAP Business One (SBO) and BPC knowledge.
Experience in Retail companies.
