We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our dynamic finance team and support our mission of powering the world with renewable energy.
In this role, you main responsibilities will be managing a portfolio from an accounting perspective with the following tasks: Financial Record Keeping Reporting : Manage bookkeeping, bank movements, loan registration, provisions, and periodifications, ensuring accurate monthly closing and the preparation of consolidated financial reports, including SASAC submissions.
Intercompany Asset Management : Reconcile intercompany balances and track assets, including derivatives and leasing, ensuring proper consolidation of intercompany transactions and alignment with financial standards.
Financial Compliance Audit: Prepare consolidated annual accounts, support audits, and ensure compliance with CNMC adjustments, SII regulations, and tax/financing standards.
Budgeting Approvals: Consolidate departmental inputs for budgeting, manage supplier and internal approvals, and collaborate with reporting teams to present consolidated financial data.
Cross-Departmental Coordination: Facilitate communication across departments to ensure smooth financial operations, aligning consolidated data with organizational needs and processes.
Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should have: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
? Minimum 2 years of experience working as an Accountant, preferably in the energy sector or a similarly regulated industry.
? Intermediate to Advanced English language proficiency (B2-C1) , Advanced Spanish language proficiency (C1-C2) , both written and verbal.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Bonus points if you have: Experience working with SAP Accounting modules.
