Poste: We are looking for an Accountant - Morocco (French Speaker), to work in the Mediterranean Finance team based in our Madrid Head Office, giving support to the 6 Mediterranean countries (Spain, Portugal, Greece, Israel, Turkey, Morocco) with Morocco country focus.
Overall responsibilities Transversal management with local Tax accounting providers & auditors, especially in Morocco.Responsible for the accuracy of accounting books.Responsible for the compliance with local fiscal and accounting rules.Control and ensure correct implementation of the company administrative policy.Provides timely and accurate accounting information to the management.Ensure daily bookkeeping tasks with the whole accounting team.TAX (in relation with the Tax Advisor & Accounting Manager Mediterranean) Control accuracy and consistency of fiscal books (VAT, fixed assets) & files (VAT returns income Tax).Deliver bridge between local accounts & IFRS accounts.Prepare Monthly VAT and all Tax declarations in partnership with external advisors.Prepare Monthly submission of local statistics, intrastate in country where it applies.ACCOUNTING Processing of vendors invoices.Registration of Note expenses.Preparation of payment batches on a weekly basis.Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.Creation and update of vendor master data in SAP.Daily check of Retail System/SAP interface on sales.Daily sales reconciliation and documentation review.
Alerts in case of discrepancy.Bank reconciliation and posting of daily movements and transactions.Integration of credit card interface.Reconciliation of payables and receivables balances.Archive of supplier invoices, note expenses, bank statements and other accounting documentation.Ensure that accounting / financial information is accurate.Provides technical support to the store's management and staff.Responsible for accuracy and adequacy of accounting records in all areas (VAT, sales, interco, Payroll, Amortization, Tax, etc.
).Responsible for Fixed Assets monitoring (Inventory, etc.
).Participation on monthly, quarterly and year end closings.Preparing ad hoc management reports as required.PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Support Retail projects within Mediterranean Region.
SAP implementation.Implementation of the new Retail System: Tax and administrative compliance.Support store opening projects: operations in store, administrative tasks, store support.Or any other project that could arise among the Region.AUDIT (in relation with the Tax Advisor & Accounting Manager Mediterranean) Prepares and runs external audit.Minutes of Board for End of Year process preparation with legal department, for the financial side.Profil:
Fluent speaker English & French; Arabic will be highly appreciated.Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in accounting & tax processes.Moroccan accounting background.SAP knowledge highly appreciated (SAP implementation in Morocco).Customers and team service oriented.Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task.Problem solving skills.Hands-on, rigorous and result driven.RÉFÉRENCE: LVM15715
