We seek to employ an Accountant who will join the Finance Department and contribute to the accounting and administrative functions to ensure accuracy and compliance with local regulations and company policies.The successful candidate will be based in our offices in Madrid and will be reporting to the Finance Director.Are you ready to join one of the largest Payments & Financial Technology solutions provider?Then this is your opportunity with us!KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :As an Accountant you will oversee the accounting operations, perform day-to-day and closing activities according to group's deadlines with full ownership of the tasks and in compliance with the group's policies and procedures.- Prepare and issue customer invoices,process supplier invoices promptly and accurately.- Manage and account for fixed assets, including maintaining the fixed assets register.- Record and reconcile transactions between related parties, bank transactions, intercompany payments.- Perform periodic reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts.- Assist in the preparation of financial statements.- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue accounts.- Provide necessary documentation and support during audits.- Implement financial policies to ensure transparencyRequirementsGENERAL REQUIREMENTS :- University degree, preferably in Finance / Accounting related discipline.- 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the financial sector.- Advanced Excel skills and MS Office.- Fluency in English, both verbal and written.- Knowledge of international accounting principles (IFRS) and procedures.- Eligible to work in the EU on full-time permanent basis without the need of employer sponsorship.COMPETENCIES :- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail.- Team player attitude.- Self-driven, self-motivated, highly interested in learning and adopting to changing environments.- Strong planning and time management skills.
