In this key role, you will ensure that the global accounting and consolidation needs of the company are being met and are aligned with business objectives, as well as ensure that Finance operations are carried out smoothly and effectively. You will contribute to further develop and execute the overall Finance strategy to spur company growth and ensure the financial strength and efficiency of the business. Furthermore, you will provide advice and practical support to the Head of Finance, including on administrative, financial, and reporting structures, policies and procedures. We expect you to make an immediate impact and play an integral part in transforming the organisation.RequirementsManage financial and analytical accounting, as well as maintenance of the chart of accounts.Manage technical accounting entries for Group level transactions, structuring, and reporting.Bookkeeping of the transactions of the companies in the Group and ensure that financial transactions are recorded accurately.Suggest ways to improve efficiency.Prepare and present the taxes of the Group.Manage and create invoices and follow-up on client payments.Manage treasury, cash flows, liquidity planning, as well as monitor payments to suppliers, consultants, and employee salaries in a timely and accurate manner.Track the company's financial performance and conduct profit and cost analyses to identify areas for potential improvement and recommend cost-optimising solutions.Assess and manage the Group's suppliers in a structured manner and ensure cost-effectiveness.Liaise with other departments to action daily operations.Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.Contribute to ensuring the NextLink Group of companies meets all its statutory and compliance obligations, including statutory accounting and tax issues, and that all accounting activities comply with local regulations of the NextLink Group corporate entities.Contribute to developing our Shared Services excellence in financial processes across companies and offices by assessing and implementing improved processes and technologies.Create effective tools to gauge the efficiency and effectiveness of controlling processes and procedures.Seek out methods for minimising financial risk to the company.Stay up to date with financial trends, technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes.Skills & QualificationsAdvanced degree in accounting, e.g. ACCA or ACA.Minimum 5 years of experience in an accounting and consolidation role in a multinational company.Strong knowledge of at least two of the following: Spanish, Swiss, UK and/or France GAAP and IFRS Standards.Superior numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Well-developed stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.Understanding of data privacy standards.Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.Excellent attention to detail.Strong organizational, planning, research, and critical thinking skills.Ability to think outside the box and be flexible in your approach.Financial tools proficiency.Experience in ERP (Odoo would be ideal).Results-oriented self-starter with strong multi-tasking abilities.Business acumen with good commercial understanding and negotiation skills.Fluent in English; Spanish and French are a plus.Professionalism, integrity, and honesty are key traits in successful candidates for this role.BenefitsGym AllowanceHybrid (Assist to the office 1 per week if you are located in Barcelona)Happy Half-Day OffFree coffee & kitchen access
