We are hiring an Accountant General Ledger in the Polestar team within GAD in our Madrid office (metro Cuzco). Polestar is an all-electric car Swedish brand, which sells directly and online to consumers and listed on Nasdaq.

What you'll do
The main purpose of the General Ledger Accountant is to prepare, execute and control accountancy recurrent entries analyzing the Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss during month end, monthly reports, and Intercompany balances reconciliation process to ensure a proper financial statement for all of our customers. You will be able to get to know the different reporting tools for the different business units (SAP, S4HANA and Workday ERPs). Given the current transformation that Volvo is experiencing, the team is involved in some global projects which require digital skills that will lead you to set up improvements with a global impact.
What you'll bring
You have a degree in Finance or equivalent and 2-3 years' experience in a similar role. Your English level is high in both written and oral communication. You are an open-minded team player with a strong customer focus and curious to learn with a digitalization mindset. Ability to plan and prioritize having a positive mindset will always be a plus! You have preferably been working with SAP FICO and Excel.
