The ideal candidate must have at least three years of experience in accounting and tax processes, be fluent in English, and have a customer and team-oriented mindset.
Knowledge of SAP is highly appreciated.This role will primarily focus on Kazakhstan's accounting scope while also supporting the six Mediterranean countries within the region.
The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial records, compliance with local fiscal regulations, and smooth financial operations.Job ResponsibilitiesOverall Responsibilities – Focus on Kazakhstan scope, with support to the 6 Mediterranean countriesSpecifically covering Kazakhstan accounting scope, together with the Mediterranean accounting team.Ability to provide accounting support over the 6 Mediterranean countries.Transversal management with local tax accounting providers suppliers, especially in Kazakhstan.Responsible for the accuracy of accounting books.Responsible for compliance with local fiscal and accounting rules.Controls and ensures the correct implementation of the company administrative policy.Provides timely and accurate accounting information to management.Ensure timely closing of the country on D+1 for PL and D+2 for balance sheet.Stores and Retail OperationProvides technical support to the stores management and staff.Performs on-site visits to ensure Internal Control rules are properly fulfilled.AccountingResponsible for accuracy and adequacy of accounting records in all areas (Sales, treasury, Interco's, Payroll, Amortization, Tax, etc.
