Accountant

As Acquera Yachting continues to grow, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accountant at our Barcelona office.Role:As an Accountant in a maritime agency, you will manage the all the accounting process, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company procedures.
The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in an international environment strictly connected with our corporate structure.Responsibilities:Managing income and expenditure accountsReconciling the company's bank statements and bookkeeping ledgerGenerating the company's financial reports using income and expenditure dataCompleting analysis of the employee expenditures, recording salaries and contributionsKeeping a check on the company's finances based on financial report, collaborating with Group CFO and Country ManagerKeeping a close eye on external consultants to ensure the accurate preparation of the monthly VAT file before sending it off to the tax advisorUpdating of the accounting archivesInitiating and managing financial and accounting software used by the GroupRequirements:Solid experience in Spanish accounting practicesStrong command of the English language (spoken and written)Commitment to confidentiality, with a flexible and proactive approachAbility to thrive under pressure and meet deadlinesAmbitious, performance-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvementHow to Apply:Please submit your resume and cover letter, detailing your relevant experience and qualifications for the Accountant position.
