From caramelized pieces to pralinés and fillings, we are specialized in deliciously fresh nut products for the food industry.The Accountant, Accounting Reporting is responsible for the accounting, reporting and tax activity for La Morella Nuts SAU.
He or she contributes to a solid basis of data for analysis and decision making while being compliant with the different rules and regulations.
Working closely together with the Accounting Admin who is mainly taking care of the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Inventory.
Reporting to the Finance Manager (Director Financiero).Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly closing and financial statements in accordance with the local statutory and Group requirements (IFRS)Perform general accounting such as fixed assets accounting, payroll accounting (payroll prepared by external service provider); calculate and post manual journals at month end with appropriate supporting documentationPerform all local treasury activities including cash management, payment runs, bank statement posting, fx hedge, fx revaluation and corresponding monthly reportingSupport external auditors on conducting interim and yearly auditsPreparation of the annual statutory report (Cuentas Anuales)Prepare, review and submit monthly financial reporting to the GroupEnsure compliance with accounting policies as well as directivesDevelop and share accounting expertise as well as knowledgeBuild, maintain, and coordinate relationships with external stakeholders as well as the finance community within the Barry Callebaut GroupEnsure local Tax compliance for direct and indirect taxesRetain and archive records electronicallyDrive continuous improvement initiatives regarding processes, technologies, and organizationREQUIRED ACADEMIC TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.Minimum 4 years' experience in accounting or audit, ideally in an international companyFluency in Spanish and good level of English, both written and oralStrong level of accuracy attention to detailAbility to deal with monthly deadlinesGood knowledge of MS ExcelAt Barry Callebaut, we are committed to Diversity Inclusion.
