We develop from high-end video and audio codecs, to slick end-user applications or multimedia middle-ware powering different playback, encoding and streaming scenarios. Our software is being used in millions of devices and our clients vary from the main thin client manufacturers to the world's leading film production labels.
Fluendo is looking to recruit an Account Manager to be responsible for managing Business Unit relationships with its customers. The Account Manager is in charge of building long-term relationships with a group of customers and generally stays with customers for the length of their relationship with the company. The goal is to keep clients or accounts for as long as possible and more! ;)
The Role Coordinate with the Sales Manager and other Sales Account Managers to ensure consistent service and goals.Collaborate with other members of the Sales Team to reach prospective clients.Generate sales among client accounts, including upselling and cross-selling of products within the corresponding Business Unit or another Business Unit.Operate as the point of contact (PoC) for assigned customers or accounts.Forecast and track client account metrics.Keep track of client transactions through Jira, Confluence, and the Back-Office.Ensure clients receive requested products and services within the agreed deadline.Be the representative of the company's values and culture to potential customers, providers, or partners.Attend events and trade shows to acquire new leads and opportunities.Cooperate and align with the Marketing Team regarding marketing actions.Work together with the Product Manager and/or Engineering Manager to expose the client's needs to elaborate the product roadmap.RequirementsQualifications University degree, Engineering Background is a plus.2+ years of experience in sales in a Tech or Startup company.Advanced English proficiency and Spanish.Industry: Business management software for small and medium-sized companies.Training process: Sales methodology knowledge to achieve fast sales ramp-up and revenue growth.Knowledge in US and EMEA Markets.Experience in the Multimedia or Technology industry is a plus.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and possessing a high level of integrity.Proficient in tools such as Jira, Confluence, and CRM.You are a team player who works well in collaborative situations and dynamic environments.
We also appreciate if you have: Experience in any of the following industries: Streaming, OTT, Broadcasting, or Gaming.Knowledge of new multimedia trends and ability to learn technologies quickly.Experience in multimedia Software/Frameworks.Experience with Project Management Tools (e.g. Jira, BaseCamp, TargetProcess…).
