Overview
The Account Manager is responsible for generating revenue and attaining their quota by selling the company's software and services to new customers in a designated territory or industry.
What you will be doing
Develop a comprehensive sales plan to meet/exceed established quota
Research and identify target customers in the Middle East region
Prospect and develop business relationships with potential customers
Leverage knowledge and experience to educate potential customers on the benefits of the company's solution
Record all customer account information in the CRM, including opportunities, commitments, significant conversations, customer visits or sales calls
Support sales solution engineers in the development and presentation of software demonstrations to potential customers
Provide information and support the Request for Proposal (RFP) process
Ensure effective transition of new prospects/end-users from pre-sale process to implementation; remain actively involved in process
Develop and communicate accurate sales forecasting on a real-time basis
Develop and maintain pipeline
Evaluate new lead prospects generated by sales associates and qualify as genuine sales opportunities, as appropriate
Actively contribute ideas to improve sales process and overall growth and quality of the sales team
Continue to grow knowledge and awareness of best practices and market trends
What will make you successful
Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Experience in sales
Microsoft Windows and Office proficient
Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and gain the trust of others
Strong at gaining consensus across multiple departments and leadership levels
Strong oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
Highly organized and experienced at successfully multi-tasking
Self-motivated with the ability to manage work to completion with minimal oversight
Strong collaboration skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areas
Up to 50% travel time required
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job
