Department Overview
The United Nations and European Union sales team is responsible for providing mission critical communications, video solutions and a variety of third party solutions to UN political and peacekeeping missions, UN agencies, EU delegations and EU civilian missions. While currently under the SSA/UN organization, our team has a global footprint.
Job Description
Your responsibilities:
Be a problem solver. Help United Nations and European Union customers leveraging ICT technologies to enhance their field operations.
Be the customer's advocate: build and maintain strong long-lasting relationships by becoming a trusted advisor.
Drive requirements. Elaborate professional proposals in coordination with the pre-sales team.
Focus on Motorola's Solutions' complete portfolio of products including, but not limited to: Two-Way radio: TETRA, DMR, ASTRO, Video and Command & Control solutions (especially thermal cameras for border monitoring), Access control, Solar energy and containerized/cabinet solutions, Systems Integration and Managed services.
Meet and exceed sales quotas with existing clients while developing new business.
Oversee the overall account management.
Drive the right strategy and tactics to win the business.
Negotiate contracts with customers and agreements with suppliers/partners (in close collaboration with Motorola procurement).
Oversee the customer facing part of the post-order process (deployment & support).
Basic Requirements
5+ years experience in sales, pre-sales, and/or project management in IT or mission critical communications.
International experience/familiarity working in a multicultural environment. Government customer facing experience is a plus.
Bachelors' Degree in computer science, engineering, business or related field (MBA preferred).
Excellent organisational, planning, and prioritisation skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset. Self-motivated. Innovative thinking. Strong goal orientation and results-driven mentality.
Strong work ethic, personal integrity, high level of professionalism.
Solid verbal and written communications capability.
Strong willingness to travel.
Fluent in English (French optional).
