Knowledge of Brand / Market / Agency Channel and audience agnostic due to expertise in the breadth of marketing options. Demonstrates deep knowledge of industry business trends. Learns and motivates their team to continuously learn about technology and other necessary disciplines for their management and professional growth.
Operational Skills Responsible for the ONE VOICE for their brands. Coordinates and integrates agency resources (including PHCG agencies involved) according to the brand's needs. Ultimate responsibility for the executional fluency of their account team, as well as responsible for the management and flawless execution of all materials and projects developed by their team. Responsible for setting goals for their team, implementing processes in their team, and transmitting best practices and the agency's vision. Serves as the champion for the brand and the organization.
Communication Skills / Client Relationships Communicates the overall client vision to the agency's internal team for all programs and actions of any discipline. Proactively manages the relationship with assigned clients and seeks opportunities to strengthen/build new relationships. Effectively communicates both tactical and strategic plans. Seeks opportunities to showcase agency work among current clients/prospects. Looks for opportunities to grow business within current accounts and in new accounts related to that client. Demonstrates expertise in presentation skills. Demonstrates the ability to adapt to different client corporate cultures.
Financial Responsibility Responsible for the planning, tracking, and fulfillment of annual and monthly forecasts for their accounts, including invoice control. Responsible for maximizing the profitability of their accounts by controlling expenses. Monitors the financial impact on the agency by controlling staffing involved in their projects based on changes in client budgets and financial expectations. Responsible for generating new business: organic growth in their accounts and in their prospects/areas of responsibility.
Interpersonal and Leadership Competencies Supervises and motivates their team. Creates opportunities for the professional growth of all members of their team; consistently provides feedback on the performance and work of their team. Applies agency policies and procedures. Manages personnel matters related to their team. Uses good judgment in recommending hiring and termination decisions.
