The Academic Office Assistant will be part of a collaborative team that works with all parts of the school body, providing pupil data, logistics, timetabling solutions, re-source optimisation, exam administration, and more. This multifaceted position requires a detail-oriented, organised, and collaborative individual who can work closely with academic and administrative teams to create an efficient learning environment.

The Academic Officce Assistant forms part of a collaborative team that works with all parts of the school body, providing pupil data, logistics, timetabling solutions, re-source optimisation, exam administration, and more. This multifaceted position requires a detail-oriented, organised, and collaborative individual who can work closely with academic and administrative teams to create an efficient learning environment.
Key responsibilities:
• Assist in all examinations, including GCE, (I)GCSE, A Level and any other public exami-nations, uploading submissions, access arrangements, and more.
• Organise exam timetables and invigilation (internal and external), including issuing pu-pils' exam timetables and organising exam venues.
• Assist in the download and distribution of exam results on the days they become avail-able, including during the summertime in UK results season, dealing with exam boards, staff, pupils and their parents in regard to re-mark requests, return scripts, queries, etc.
• Review student and staff timetables, allocating meetings, extra-curricular classes, and more
• Run the Room Booking System and allocate room bookings around campus
• Oversee the logging of registration / absence

• Experience working flexibly in response to changing situations
• Meticulous attention to detail
• A trustworthy approach and a reliability to work independently as "self-starter"
• The motivation and ability to work as part of a team
• Highly competent ICT skills (experience of SIMS software would be beneficial)
• A professional manner with children young people, colleagues and parents
