We are now looking for a Technical Project Manager to join the Technical Solutions and Operations department. As a member of the Technical Solutions team, you will play a pivotal role in the initial training, project management, and delivery of implementation services for our customers. This position is an exciting opportunity to create excellent first impressions with our customers, work closely with our product team, and ultimately build out our customer implementation process.The TPM works with our new customers to ensure the successful implementation of the Power Factors Drive product. You will achieve this through understanding customer business goals and objectives, developing strong rapport, and executing against a defined onboarding schedule and budget. You will manage a portfolio of onboarding projects with a diverse set of customers and act as the first touch point in a customer's experience after purchasing Power Factors. You will be a critical player in driving long-term customer success and demonstrating the value of our product for our customers.In this role, you will help customers onboard their assets into our platform to meet their needs and act as an advocate for new feature enhancements by coordinating with our Product and Development teams. For this reason, you will require a strong background in systems integration, including SCADA and data acquisition systems, network engineering, cyber security, industrial communication protocols, server management, and other related topics and disciplines. You will also need a high level of organizational skill to be able to manage a number of projects, provide timely status updates, and help to build and scale our onboarding process.RESPONSIBILITIESManage the implementation process of Power Factors Drive and Greenbyte monitoring platform deployments with new customers. Work directly with customers stakeholders to:Understand their business goals and organizational structure, translating this into a project plan to implement the Power Factors technology,Lead project management activities, manage project schedule and budget, and ensure timely completion of deliverables, andTrain and educate their team on monitoring platform capabilities and functionality.Quickly identify potential issues and escalate them appropriately to ensure the best possible experience during the onboarding phase.Gather requirements for product enhancements and customer feature requests.Work closely with the Product and Technical Solutions teams to determine the best configuration decisions for new customers.Develop, update, and maintain the tools, standards, specifications, and other related resources and requirements.Build and maintain the tools, standards and processes to support scalable onboarding workflows.Support quality assurance and closed loop learning initiatives.Collaborate with Sales, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure smooth handoffs before and after onboarding.REQUIREMENTSMinimum of 5 years of significant experience working in a customer-facing and project management role at a technology company (preferably SaaS).Strong project management skills with proven ability to manage a portfolio of accounts with keen prioritization and multitasking abilities.Relevant experience in the SCADA/DAS discipline with experience software configuration, and/or IoT/networking configuration.Exceptional interpersonal skills; you have the unique ability to talk technical details and business strategy in the same conversation.Customer-first mentality; ability to empathize and build customer relationships.Experience in design, technical writing, gathering technical requirements and relaying these to technical and non-technical audiences.Understanding of Customer Success best practices.Critical thinking and proven ability to solve complex problems.Excellent verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skills.Ability to interpret electrical and data collection related drawing sets and other supporting project documentation.Experience in the renewable energy industry is considered an asset.ABOUT USWe are Power Factors, developer of the world's leading cloud platform for renewable energy.
