Abap Developer, Associate

Join us! In the Development & Core HR department, within Applications Services, we are currently recruiting an ABAP Associate developer. We are searching for someone who is a proactive and collaborative developer and who has experience working with business users supporting and adapting reliable, consistent and fit to purpose HR applications.
As ABAP Associate developer, you'll be responsible for implementing new ABAP projects as well as maintaining/enhancing existing ABAP coding. We need someone who is focused on developing high quality code with very low regression risk and easy to be maintained by others.
Mandatory skills: Technical University Degree (Computer Science Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, etc)Excellent object-oriented programming skills (SAP ABAP is a plus)High understanding of software development cyclesOutgoing personality, good interpersonal, multi-tasking and organizational skillsExcellent communication skills in English (Any other European language is welcome)Ability to organize and prioritize projects in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented and rapidly changing businessStrong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgmentOutstanding stakeholder engagement – maintaining good working relationships with business stakeholders and providing advice and guidance as requested.Motivation and desire for improvementDesired skills: +1 years of ABAP developing experience.Ability to work independent of direct supervisionKey responsibilities include: Incident ManagementWork internationally with other colleagues to follow and define processes and procedures aligned with the customer requirementsClient facing experienceParticipate in design sessionsEstimate and design technical solutionsProactively identify areas that could benefit from service improvements and devise/implement configuration changes to improve the user experience and leverage the systemConduct and manage proper testing by reducing regressionWe offer you a competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.
