Responsibilities :
Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies for a new brand launch in the female football space.
Create and manage press releases, media kits, and other materials to promote our brand and activities to the media and public.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts, including journalists, bloggers, and influencers.
Identify media opportunities and develop proactive pitches to secure coverage in relevant publications and media outlets.
Manage and respond to media inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Plan and coordinate press events, including press conferences, media days, and photo opportunities.
Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and social media, to ensure a cohesive brand message across all channels.
Monitor media coverage and provide regular reports on media sentiment, coverage, and impact on the organization.
Manage crisis communications, including drafting statements and managing media inquiries during sensitive situations.
Stay up to date on the latest trends and best practices in sports PR and incorporate them into our strategies.
Requirements :
Minimum of 3 years of experience in PR, with a strong focus on football or other sports (or similar sports fashion, for example).
A deep understanding of the sports industry and its media landscape, including key publications, influencers, and journalists.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful PR strategies and securing high-profile media coverage.
Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to develop compelling messages and content for various audiences.
Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, social media, and creative.
Proficient in industry-standard PR tools and software.
Bachelor's degree in PR, communications, or a related field is preferred.
