This product manager will be responsible for setting the strategy for the core product experience and delivering a new and delightful experience for Kindle customers.Key Job Responsibilities:Set a bold vision for reading for a confidential new program, in partnership with UX and engineering.Drive positive business outcomes by delivering bold product innovation that customers love.Define the software feature sets, business requirements, measures of success, and roadmap for your experiences.Rapidly iterate based on behavioral measurements, customer feedback, and other data sources to ensure we are building the right features over time.Collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders to evangelize and create buy-in for your vision.Provide mentorship and best practices to the broader product management organization.Preferred Qualifications:MBA from a top business school, and a BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field from a top university.Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition.Experience in one or more areas of the digital content ecosystem (reading apps, authoring tools, publisher workflows, page layout, and rendering).Passion for reading (if you don't love reading, you probably don't want a hand in building its future).Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.Strengths in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives.Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and project management counterparts to deliver online products/services.
