Centrient Pharmaceuticals is wholly owned by Bain Capital Private Equity, a leading global private investment firm.The Engineering department has a vacancy in its team for the following position: Automation Engineer.As an Automation Engineer, you will have responsibility inside the Engineering function of sites in the following area: Automation.Main Activities and Responsibilities:Formulate and execute a comprehensive automation strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.Lead the planning, design, and implementation of automation projects of the site.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance existing automation systems and processes.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for optimization and efficiency gains, and implement corrective actions as needed.Ensure that all automation site systems and processes comply with relevant regulations and industry standards, such as FDA regulations, GxP guidelines, and Good Automated Manufacturing Practice (GAMP).Identify potential risks associated with automation initiatives and develop mitigation strategies to address them.Develop and manage budgets for automation projects, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and cost-effectively.Requirements - The Ideal Candidate:Bachelor's degree in the engineering field (Electricity, Electronics, Automation or Chemical) and/or Master's degree in engineering management, technical management, or business administration.5 years experience in technical departments: Automation Engineer (+3 years) and Project Management (+2 years).Advanced level of English language (written and spoken).Knowledge of SIEMENS suite for SCADA systems.
