DESCRIPTION: Lead all the finance, accounting, tax, and control activities to ensure that IMDEA's economic and financial activities are monitored and controlled in order to make effective use of financial resources, meet the organization's aims and goals and fulfil statutory and tax obligations. Coordinate with the project and personnel department. Preparing and supervising the business plan for creating technology-based companies (spin-offs).REQUIREMENTS:Education:MSc in Economics, Business Administration, Finance (or related).Fluent in English (oral and written).Specific training in the financial management of European projects.Specific training in the law of foundations and non-profit organisations.Experience:A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in a multinational and multicultural setting.Previous experience in the management of the accounts of public foundations and financial management of competitive projects (European, national and regional levels).Experience in creating companies: preparing the business plan, reviewing legal aspects, etc.Strong knowledge of Excel.Experience with Financial & Accounting ERPs (preferably with IDINET).Necessary competencies:Good communication skills.Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.Excellent team management skills.Excellent organizational skills, proactivity and teamwork orientation.Initiative, flexibility and ability to solve everyday problems related to the position's duties.CONDITIONS: Contrato indefinido en virtud de lo establecido en el artículo 2 de la Ley 20/2021, de 28 de diciembre, de medidas urgentes para la reducción de la temporalidad en el empleo público.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The working language of the Institute is English.
