Role purpose: The role is to lead a team of product owners in the Cloud Platforms Engineering team. This role is part of the Cloud Platforms team in the Vodafone Business Products and Platforms Engineering organization. Our mission is to provide engineering tools, set standards, and create the framework to enable the Products and Platforms engineering teams to manage public cloud infrastructure and services consistently and securely using DevOps practices (e.g., CICD, SRE). We do this by bringing our customers (software developers and testers) along on our visionary journey to automate everything and to adopt Continuous Deployment. The roadmap and backlog owned by the product owner team will cover deliverables of our cloud engineering squads, mainly: public cloud infrastructure design, infrastructure as code, CICD pipelines, SLI and SLO as code, public cloud cost control, SRE adoption, and enabling engineering teams and software developers to use those with a shift-left engineering experience mindset.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
Setting the overall vision to direct, inform, and prioritize the order of work (roadmap and backlog) to maximize value within constraints of resource, budget strategy, and compliance.
Act as single contributor product owner - Owning the requirements and technical products for Cloud Platforms to deliver a product based on cloud technology and DevOps working principles and practices, working with other product owners & team members to generate a consistent set of priorities and handle interdependencies between feature deliveries.
Works together with the squad teams to release the product in high quality and on time and contributes to the squad with her/his product knowledge as well as methodological skills.
Responsibility for the delivery of end results and contributes to planning, finances/budget and policy formulation regarding technical risk management and adoption of security controls.

Experience in a Product Owner role or similar roles: owning value-driven roadmaps and backlogs and leading delivery teams to make them happen.
Familiar with cloud and DevOps technologies practices, processes, and standards.

Strong analytical profile with problem-solving skills.
Highly energetic, with a 'can-do' attitude and courageous lateral thinking.
Excellent spoken and written English.
Must have technical skills:

Hands-on experience in a technology domain, preferably cloud, infrastructure, or DevOps related.
Experience working within an Agile environment.
