.Job Description: A vacancy for a B1 Aircraft Maintenance Technician has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, AD&S, in Getafe, Madrid. The successful applicant will join AD&S Final Assembly Line team with double shift. RESPONSIBILITIES Working as part of Final Assembly Line FAL A330 MRTT Flight Line Centre - AG4 team, the role shall be: Prepare, perform and certify base and line maintenance works as a B1 certifying staff, working with a very small group of non-licensed technicians, when needed. Aircraft preparation for flight by implementing on A/C the items recorded in the Test Preparation Sheet, TPS, issued by FlightOps organization for every flight. Carry out production works on the aircraft to prepare it for ground test managed by MRTT Design Office and supervised by FAL- Quality as well as the required support during tests execution. Carry out retrofit mechanical works and tests on the aircraft in accordance with applicable retrofit service bulletin or applicable Job Cards. Perform aircraft discrepancy fixing, trouble-shooting, handling and servicing. The position is based in Getafe but the candidate must be willing to work abroad at ADS customer's sites during aircraft delivery, to support ground & flight tests campaigns as well as AD&S Service's organization to implement Services Bulletins on site, to carry out aircraft conversion works at AD&S subcontractor premises, etc. This is a challenging position combining a desirable military background, EASA Part 66 license as well as EMAR/FR 66 and working in an environment which planning charges almost in a daily basis. As a part of Flight Line Centre - AG4 organization, the candidate shall provide support to A330 MRTT and A310 DEMO when required. The candidate shall be willing to obtain National and NATO clearance, HPS Habilitación Personal de Seguridad. SKILLS We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience: Aircraft maintenance license EASA PART 66 category B1 aircraft rating Airbus A330 (RR TRENT 700 & GE CF6) without limitations. MANDATORY. Being in possession of a valid EASA PART 66 category B2 aircraft maintenance license with the A330 will be HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Candidates shall have a minimum of 5 years of previous experience in Airbus aircraft maintenance environment and at least 2 years working in A330 (RR TRENT 700) and/or (GE CF6). Candidates shall also be able to demonstrate by delivering during the selection process a copy of the relevant records to show up to date aircraft continuous training and experience in accordance to EASA regulation in this aircraft.
