This role can be based in any European country, working remotely or locally with our European team headquarters located in Hasselt, Belgium, and directly collaborating with our team across the United States. This role is compensated with a base salary plus eligibility for the Kiswe Sales Incentive Plan (SIP).Description: The Director of Sports Business Development for Europe and the Middle East is a role that focuses on creating business development opportunities and establishing relationships with new potential partners. This role will lead outreach and identify growth opportunities with leagues, teams, federations, and other entities across a variety of sports including football, rugby, cricket, tennis, and basketball, working to create revenue-generating D2C partnerships. This role also includes responsibility for our existing business development efforts with the Olympics/IOC, and helping prepare for the winter games in Milano-Cortina (2026) and summer games in Los Angeles (2028). With the changing digital landscape, we recognize that a variety of organizations will need to set up innovative D2C strategies. A working knowledge of the unique business and marketing strategies around the complexities sports organizations face is vital. You will be responsible for hunting and identifying potential partners, building relationships with them, and representing Kiswe while closing strategic deals with those partners. The Director of Sports Business Development will report to the Chief Revenue Officer and interface with the rest of the US team. The primary responsibility will be to win new deals with sports content owners in the region and deliver the revenue targets.Primary Responsibilities:Win revenue-generating opportunities across the globe with a primary focus on Europe and the Middle East, focusing on sports organizations and federations.Identify meaningful events to attend across Europe and the Middle East, including SPORTEL, SportsPro, Leaders in Sports, etc., and partner with these events to establish and build relationships; as a result, this role includes the requirement for travel.Take the lead in developing relationships with key decision makers, pitching expanded growth opportunities, and delivering on won opportunities.
