Job Description Summary: Coach, drive and lead lean behaviors, principles, and tools across an operational or functional area.
Drive cultural transformation resulting in step-change in operational business metrics.
As a Lean Leader in the Solutions for Enterprise Imaging (SEI) division unit of GEHC Imaging Business Unit,

you will be on the front end of culture change implementing the Lean Operating system with senior management and working with Front Line Leaders to embrace their roles.
This role reports to the Director SEI Lean and Recalls in the SEI Global Services organization.
This is a senior individual contributor role without direct reports.
ResponsibilitiesCoach and develop team members at all levels of the organization to build lean skills and become practitioners, with a focus not only on tools but on methods and most importantly on behaviors.In partnership with business leaders and other lean resources, increase the organization's lean maturity using the standard GEHC lean maturity model.Lead, facilitate and coach cross-functional teams in improving processes and systems.Support the roadmap of lean priorities and maturity of the GEHC organization.Lead value stream optimization.Partner with business leaders to increase the organization's Lean Problem Solving Culture.Maintain Problem Solving Funnel & Roadmap for the Segment/Region/Support Function.Coach leaders at various levels in improving daily management and problem solving.Partner with GEHC corporate lean team in continuously improving the lean method.Must be able to travel approximately 20% of the time domestically and internationally.To continue implementing the Lean Operating system this role will:
Prepare and participate in Monthly Operating Reviews (MOR) with regional and executive leadership.Work with Front Line Leaders to coach them to embrace Standard Work, Daily Management, Continuous Improvement, and Employee development.Help define and develop KPI metrics which will be reviewed in MOR's.As follow-up on any red KPI metrics reviewed in the MOR, facilitate and coach Problem Solving Process to find root causes and develop lean practitioners from among the local process owners.To promote a problem solving culture you will:
Promote awareness of the Lean Problem Solving Process and identify opportunities.Respond to business priorities to identify opportunities together with senior leadership.Coach, train, and lead GE teams through the Problem Solving Process and even Kaizen events as appropriate.As a Global Lean Leader located in Europe you will:
Partner with EMEA leadership in particular to help innovate within the region and share best practices to become global standard.Meet with Front Line Leaders in Europe to promote adoption of the Lean responsibilities of Front Line Leaders.Perform and coach leadership GEMBA walks with the EMEA operations.Facilitate and coach Problem Solving Process on top EMEA Region Initiatives.Represent regional perspectives to the global Lean team and global service leadership team.Qualifications / Skills RequirementsDemonstrated ability to increase the organization's lean maturity.Lean practitioner, capable of facilitating Problem Solving events and coaching core tools such as Daily Visual Management, Scientific Problem Solving, Value Stream, Optimization, Standard Work and Transactional Process Improvement.Proven to be effective in driving outcomes in large, matrixed organizations - understands how to navigate geographies, cultures, relationships, etc.Change agent, able to make the case for lean, demonstrate immediate impact and drive cultural change.Highly collaborative; comfortable with constructive conflict and debate normally associated with change.Critical thinker with the ability to bring others along, even those with conflicting priorities.Impactful communicator from the shop floor to the boardroom.Basic QualificationsBS or BA Degree; Master's Degree preferred.Minimum of 3 years mastering a variety of Lean and Growth-related tools such as: Hoshin Kanri / Strategy Deployment, Problem Solving, Daily Management, Standard Work, Value Stream / Process Mapping, TPS methodology, Toyota Kata.Experience Leading / Improving / Transforming within Transactional Service Environments, Factory, Supply Chain, and/or Supplier Performance.Additional Information: Relocation Assistance Provided: No
