Virtualization Administrator - Santander Digital Services Country: Spain WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING SANTANDER DIGITAL SERVICES is looking for a VIRTUALIZATION ADMINISTRATOR, based in our Boadilla del Monte (Madrid) office.
As a Virtualization Administrator, you will help build out, maintain, and troubleshoot our rapidly expanding infrastructure.
You will be part of a talented team that demonstrates superb technical competency, delivering mission-critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, and security.
EXPERIENCE 3+ years' experience as Virtualization Administrator with main focus in VMWare solutions.
EDUCATION Education in System Engineering or other relevant IT degree.
SKILLS KNOWLEDGE Large experience with virtualization in VMware Environments (vCenter, ESXi, VCF).
Experience with SDS (Software Defined Storage) VMware VSAN.
Proven working experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting UNIX/Linux and Windows-based environments.
Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP).
Experience with HW environments based on HPE (HP OneView), Dell.
Solid scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts, PowerShell, PowerCLI).
Experience with automation software (e.g., Rundeck, Ansible, Terraform) is a plus.
Experience with VMware Cloud Foundations Suite (SDDC) is a plus.
Experience with VMware HCX is a plus.
Experience with RH Satellite to manage RH licenses subscriptions is a plus.
Cloud architectures (vCloud, Azure/AWS) is a plus.
Monitoring tools (VMware VROps, VMware LogInsight, Dynatrace) is a plus.
Experience in Agile Tools and Methodology.
English C1 is a must.
Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
