Job Description
PMCM practice, as part of AECOM's Buildings + Places business unit, is actively seeking a highly talented Project Manager to support active and future projects for growing the team in Madrid.
The PMCM team provides project control and strategic advisory to help our clients complete complex projects on schedule and budget.
As a result of a diverse portfolio of projects, there are endless exciting project opportunities.
As an experienced Project Manager, you will be expected to successfully manage, coordinate and deliver projects during the whole project life cycle: from initial inception, through the design, procurement process and onto the site delivery and commissioning phase.
Job Main DutiesClient Management and Relationship Building
The most important attribute for this position is a successful track record of growing and fostering relationships with clients leading to repeated work.
- Builds, maintains and fosters positive client relationships.
- Develop proposals, scopes of work and fees that meet the client's needs and expectations.
- Client management services and relationship building.
- Primary point of contact for projects.
- Work with clients to be in a trusted advisor role.Leadership/Team Management
This position will require the ability to lead multi-disciplinary and often multi-company teams to an integrated successful project execution.
- Mentor and develop staff, providing leadership to complete complex architectural and engineering projects within an environment that cultivates teamwork, initiative and growth.
- Supports teamwork and guides project teams on solving technical issues.
- Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of multi-disciplinary work.
- Engage multiple projects, supervise the delivery of scope, direction and coordination as necessary; identify change orders, or delegate portions of projects to deputies with active engagement in oversight.
- Understand issues and proactively problem solve to address issues in a timely and professional manner.
