Job DescriptionThe Department of Homologation of Passenger cars, Light Commercial Vehicles & Components is looking for an Homologation Engineer to join the team at Idiada's Headquarters.He/she will be specifically dedicated to the testing and certification of vehicles, systems and components according to regulations applicable for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), alarm systems, immobilizers and electronic systems in general. He will provide support as well to our internal innovation initiative, quality management, and performance of external audits for manufacturer's initial assessment and control of production.He/she will report to the current technical leader of those subjects in the Department of Homologation of Passenger Cars,Light Commercial Vehicles & Components.He/she will be responsible for the following tasks:Training to achieve enough knowledge about requirements for the approval of vehicles, systems and components.To deal with the clients in order to understand their needs and to manage the certification projects.To assume the role of homologation engineer in relation with the subjects mentioned before.QualificationsBachelor's degree or master's degree in Electrical / Electronics/ Telecommunications/ Mechanical Engineering, Automotive industry, or similar.High level of English and SpanishKnowledge in other languages ( German) would be a plus.Some knowledge in automotive technology and in particular in electronics and electromagnetic compatibility would be an asset.Additional InformationBenefits-Chance to work in a dynamic and challenging environment where you will be able to reach your full potential.-Constant learning and knowledge sharing with some of the most experienced engineers in the automotive industry.-Shuttle bus from Barcelona and Tarragona and Internal car sharing app, to promote the sustainable transportation.-We promote the training and constant learning and we offer paid specialized training and subsidized language courses.-Subsidized canteen.#J-18808-Ljbffr
