As a member of the technical services department, you will report to the chief engineer, electrical and instrumentation, and have the unique opportunity to design specialized instrumentation and control systems that are key to Cameco's future success. This position will require you to be a strong individual contributor while also working collaboratively with your team.In this role, you will:Support the instrumentation discipline design lead on multi-discipline project teamsPerform instrument selections for Cameco's uranium operationsPrepare engineering drawings and documents such as the instrument index, control philosophy, P&IDs, instrument data sheets, instrument location plans, loop drawings, cable schedules, PLC and other panel drawings as requiredProduce and evaluate bid documents for materials and contracts, completing vendor shop drawings reviews and assisting with preparing material costs and timing estimatesRequired:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering or chemical engineeringTen+ years of progressive experience in the field of instrumentation & controls design for process or mining operationsEquivalent combination of education and work experience consideredP.Eng
