No Offer Description IQUADRAT INFORMATICA S.L (IQU) is a technology company founded in 1997, focusing on delivering System-Level evaluation tools for wireless networks.
IQU R&D provides global solutions and services in the use of Internet and Telecommunications to companies and institutions utilizing information and communication technologies in commercial, marketing, management, and business communication areas.
IQU's R&D has a focused business plan aimed at delivering a new generation of research tools for system-level evaluation of wireless integrated communication systems.
The R&D department is involved in numerous National and EU-funded research projects, with extensive expertise in 5G/6G communication platforms, IoT platforms, and Demand Response algorithms for the Smart Grid.
IQU's R&D department is looking for three Doctoral Candidates in the framework of the Marie Curie Doctoral Network EXACT-6G, funded by the European Commission.

The Doctoral Network is led by IQUADRAT and includes top European partners in the field such as ISI Athena, EUR-EURECOM GIE, UO-OULUN YLIOPISTO, GNW-GREENERWAVE, and NOK-NOKIA NETWORKS FRANCE.
EXACT6G is a newly launched Marie Sklodowska-Curie Doctoral Network offering fifteen (15) PhD positions across eight European countries.
The project aims to develop a breakthrough converged optical-wireless architecture to achieve an efficient 6G Cell-Free (CF)-based access network, enabling a peak data rate of 1 Tb/s and deployments with over 107 devices/km2, supporting advanced user services (e.g., holographic telepresence, advanced AR/VR, massive digital twinning, flying networks, etc.).
Minimum Requirements Must hold a Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Math/Physics/Statistics, or a related field Track record of research excellence Good communication skills Please include your internship availability in your application Specific Requirements Candidates must also meet the following criteria: Be in the first four years (full-time equivalent research experience) of their research careers; Be of any nationality, but not having resided or carried out their main activity in the host institution's country for more than 1 year in the past 3 years; Have not yet been awarded a PhD degree.

Position 3: Pervasive orchestration algorithms for self-synthesized continuum infrastructures This position focuses on developing algorithms that autonomously manage and optimize distributed computing resources across cloud, edge, and IoT environments, enabling seamless, self-adaptive orchestration for improved efficiency, scalability, and fault tolerance in dynamic infrastructures.
The ultimate goal is to create systems that can intelligently self-configure and adjust to changing demands without manual intervention, enhancing performance across diverse digital layers.
