This team works across all phases of data lifecycle.About the role:We're looking for a Data Engineer to join our growing Data Engineering and Analytics Practice. You will be based in our offices in Madrid and working part-time remotely as part of our 'flex together' approach. We are in a cloud transformation process, and we need you! This exciting role will offer a host of development opportunities as part of a growing global business.Day to Day You'll Be:Passion for technology in the field of data engineering and analyticsDesign, build, test and deploy cutting edge big data solutions at scaleExtract, clean, transform, and analyze vast amounts of raw data from various Data SourcesBuild data pipelines and API integrations with various internal systemsImproving and maintaining our data ware house.Experience on data migration from our local DB to cloud (GCP).Work across all stages of data LifecycleImplement best practices across all data analytics processesProactively monitor, identify, and escalate issues or root causes of systemic issuesEnable data scientists, business and product partners to fully leverage our platformData governance best practicesImpacto que harás:Essential Skills & Experience:Extensive experience in Big Data technologies such as Hive, Spark and Hadoop.Big Data Technologies – SQL, Python, Oracle DB, PySpark, Pandas, Jupyter, Airflow, Talend, JenkinsExperience in Google Cloud Platform: dataproc, bigquery, cloud storage, dataflowExperience in Python programming languageExperience in Oracle DB experience and cloud database migrationR-studio experience is an advantageWhat's In It For you?At TransUnion you will be joining a friendly, forward thinking global business.We're happy to talk flexible working.
