Offer Description INTERNATIONAL CALL IC61_24 JOB TITLE R4 - Leading Researcher in Infection, immunity and environment JOB DESCRIPTION The Pere Virgili Institute for Health Research (IISPV) is an esteemed institution that integrates biomedicine research in the "Camp de Tarragona" and the "Terres de l'Ebre" regions.
The IISPV serves as the research and innovation hub for the university hospitals in these regions, including Joan XXIII University Hospital of Tarragona, Verge de la Cinta Hospital of Tortosa, Sant Joan de Reus University Hospital, Institut Pere Mata University Hospital of Reus, and Rovira and Virgili University.
The IISPV is seeking to hire an R4 researcher in Infection, immunity and environment.
CANDIDATE PROFILE AND REQUIREMENTS Degree in Chemistry.
PhD in Chemistry or related areas.
Demonstrated leadership in the field of Infection, immunity and environment.
Expertise in managing and leading competitive research projects.
International reputation based on research excellence in Infection, immunity and environment.
Publications and presentations of influential papers and books in Infection, immunity and environment.
Excellent communication and networking skills within and outside the research community.
High level of English.
R3 certificate (granted or requested) according to Law 14/2011, of June 1, on Spanish Science, Technology, and Innovation, is required.
Two letters of recommendation from recognized scientists in the area of interest.
IT WILL BE VALUED Skills in personnel management and organization.
Additional master's degree.
Ability to create an innovative and creative research environment.
Strategic vision for the future of the research field (The presentation of a summary on the objectives for the next 5 years will be considered).
Previous work experience in prestigious research organizations.
SELECTION PROCEDURE Selection of CV's.

To access the interview phase it is necessary to have obtained a minimum score of 30 points in the sum of scores of the evaluation of the curriculum and cover letter.
Personal interview (interview).
With a maximum score of 60 points.
The selected person must have obtained a minimum score of 70 points in the sum of scores from the assessment of all phases of the selection procedure.
