JOB DESCRIPTIONWe are looking for a fellowship focused on activities related to advanced diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal endoscopy (focused in early gastrointestinal neoplasia and third space endoscopy), mainly research, and education in the field of gastroenterology.
The fellow will actively participate in structured modules designed to enhance their skills in advanced endoscopy, contribute to ongoing research projects, and assist in educational initiatives within the department.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCERequired level of education: Medicine Bachelor's Degree and specialty ("Aparato Digestivo").Languages: Spanish and English.Specific knowledge: gastrointestinal diseases.Personal skills: Motivation for research, working in group.Required experience: basic endoscopy.Specific requirements established by the call or grant: minimum 3 years experience as a specialist in gastroenterology/"Aparato Digestivo".
Special interest in learning ESD and third space endoscopy (no previous knowledge needed).Studies or knowledge not required, but valuable for a better performance of the functions to be developed: endoscopic optical diagnosis (Chromoendoscopy), basic knowledge of early gastrointestinal neoplasia management ("Clínica de Alto Riesgo"). WHAT WE OFFERType of contract and working hours: Indefinite (Indefinido por actividades científico-técnicas- Ley de la ciencia 14/2011) linked to BSC001.
Part-time (19 hours/week).Date of incorporation: February 3rd, 2025.Gross annual remuneration will be fixed based on the experience provided and the skills of the candidate, distributed in 12 payments.Flexible payment (childminding vouchers).23 days holiday and 5 days for personal matters + 2 personal days for Easter + 2 personal days for Christmas.Training capsules by the company.Be part of an excellent multidisciplinary research centre with the HRS4R badge.Location on the Can Ruti Campus, a first-class translational research environment in the Barcelona area, in a very stimulating scientific environment.
