JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a coordinator of the experimental team of Clinical and Environmental Infectious Diseases Study Group to develop research projects in the area of infectious diseases and public health.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESCarry out research tasks in the research group, participate in projects under supervision and/or more independently, and be able to ask for their own projects.Produce scientific articles as first, last, or corresponding author.Communications in national and international conferences.Participation in patents, clinical guides, clinical applications, etc.Participate in training tasks (degree, masters, supervise or co-supervise theses).Ability to organize development of structural resources for the group, organize scientific events at the centre, etc.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEDoctor in health sciences (Biology, Biotechnology).At least five years of experience as Postdoctoral researcher with articles in the field as main author.Experience in Microbiology.Experience with Legionella (environmental and clinical).Experience in patent and projects writing and application.Experience in team coordination.WHAT WE OFFERIndefinite contract (1628 hours/year) Contrato indefinido por actividades científico-técnicas.

About usThe Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP) is a public research centre located in Badalona.
Its main objective is to increase scientific knowledge in order to transform it into solutions to improve the health and medical care of patients and the community.
The Institute is associated with one of the major university hospitals in the Barcelona area, the Germans Trias i Pujol Hospital, and is part of the Can Ruti biomedical campus.
IGTP is a CERCA centre and is also accredited as a centre of excellence by the Instituto de Salud Carlos III (ISCIII) and is in charge of coordinating the management and scientific strategy of the campus, working in close collaboration with the other centres.
