We are looking for a senior profile with solid experience as a SQL database administrator, to manage and maintain our database systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in SQL Server and experience with performance tuning, backup and recovery, and database security.
Mandatory Requirements:
Proven experience of at least 3/4 years as a system administrator in SQL Databases.
English language skills are essential for daily communication in English. Fluency in conversation is expected.
Valuable knowledge:
Technical Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a SQL Database Administrator or in a similar role. Advanced roles may require more than 5 years of experience.
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) are highly valued.
Cloud Environments: Experience with cloud-based databases (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is advantageous.
Experience with MdW (Weblogic, Jboss, ISS, Tomcat, ...).
Advanced Automation/Orchestration skills.
Familiarity with Backup/Storage (Netapp, EMC, NetBackup, Veeam Backup...).
Knowledge of ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy).
Soft Skills: Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical team members.
What your daily routine will look like:
You'll have a 40-hour weekly contract, Monday through Friday. The project you'll be working on has a rotating shift applicable to the entire team, with three shifts that rotate weekly between 7:00 am and 19:00 pm.
