In addition, this position supports a wide range of internal and external communications needs (executive presentations, employee digital communications, etc.) and brand support. With a thorough understanding of how different digital channels present different challenges and opportunities, this role will work closely with Designers, Copywriters and Social Media Managers to create great content for internal and external use. Working within the team, the candidate must be highly collaborative and still be able to work independently.Reporting to the Studio Lead, the Video Editor works alongside the team of 13 consisting of integrated designers, community managers, motion designers and account managers.What you will be doing:Talented and well-rounded editor that works well under tight deadlines, producing high-quality work.Understand what makes GREAT content, especially but not limited for social media, e.G., best practices for making social assets and mobile first, as well as inspiring creative from video style, editing and transitions.Ability to liaise across various departments with clear communication.Able to receive a toolkit and a localised brief, with the footage and/or a shot list, script, or storyboard to create the masters for different formats and sizes.Produce creative motion graphics and editing work with a clear rationale to accompany the brief.Digitally cutting the files to put together the sequencing and deciding what is best suited.Creating adaptations from the master files into multiple outputs.Creating, sometimes from scratch and sometimes adapting from existing work, 2D animations, Motion Graphics, videos, gifs, etc.Following strict brand guidelines, while finding the right balance between creative flare and sticking closely to the guidelines.Edit and export video content for social media and websites.Reordering and fine-tuning the content to ensure the logical sequencing and smooth running of the film/video.Additional tasks may include overseeing the quality and progress of audio and video engineering and editing
