Our school is located on two sites: Roade in Northamptonshire and Deanshanger on the outskirts of Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire.We are looking to appoint a 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 supporting a year 8 student at Roade campus. You will work with school staff and students providing learning support.Minimum Requirements:Some SEND experience and an interest in flexible learning methods.Commitment to promoting self-esteem.Experience working with young people in the 11 - 16 age range is desired.A good standard of literacy and numeracy, GCSE Grade C or equivalent in Maths and English.The successful candidate will:Have SEND experience - working with young people.Be approachable and flexible.Be committed to promoting self-esteem.Meet the person specification and be required to apply for a DBS disclosure.Be eligible to live and work in the UK.Training and development opportunities will be offered.
