Job description: The Partnership Associate will have the unique opportunity to play a cross-functional role, touching various departments including Partnership, Operations, and Product. Tasked with spearheading the introduction of two new business verticals in Spain and Portugal — Affiliate Insert Marketing — the Partnership Associate will reach out to potential vendor prospects and close them. The position demands a strong knack for networking, a strategic sales approach, and a solid foundation in marketing.
Duties: Launch of the Insert marketing business in Spain & Portugal: Identify and engage with procurement hubs of newspapers, Ecommerce entities, among others. Continually broaden our procurement vendor database. Establish standardized SLAs with these partner entities. Analyze and communicate the logistical nuances of each vendor, including delivery timelines, procedures, insert capacity, and their audience demographics. Collaborate with the data team to devise a model that allows Oppizi to pilot this new business initiative. Once the venture is affirmed, assist the Product team in understanding the core elements of this new business, ensuring software development is tailored to client needs. Sales and Negotiation: Manage the negotiation and closing of new business deals (inbound and outbound). Develop and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to potential clients. Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition of new clients and to achieve revenue targets. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the print industry, business development, sales, or a related field, with a proven track record of securing new business deals. Fluent Spanish; Portuguese is greatly appreciated.
