Lonza Basel is looking for a Head of Project and Risk Management - Global Operations Biologics.This Global Project Management (PMO) and Risk Management role within Operations is critical for overseeing the successful execution of projects and managing risks across global operations. This role is responsible for leading the Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring best practices in project management, and implementing robust risk management strategies to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.Key Responsibilities:Establish and maintain lean operating mechanisms for the Global Operations LT while driving and managing business communications across the network.Lead and manage global projects from initiation through to completion, providing guidance and support to project managers across the Network by developing and implementing project management frameworks and tools.Develop, implement, and maintain risk management policies and procedures, conduct regular risk assessments and audits, and provide risk reports to senior management, recommending actions to mitigate identified risks.Analyze operational processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement, implementing process improvements to enhance operational effectiveness by developing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) for operational activities.Collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform decision-making processes and prepare and present detailed reports on project performance, risk status, and operational metrics.Facilitate stakeholder meetings, presentations, and workshops to build and maintain strong relationships to ensure stakeholder buy-in and support.Key Requirements:Educational background in Business Administration, Operations Management, Risk Management, Project Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.Proven experience in successfully leading a PMO or similar function in a global context.Experience in developing and implementing risk management frameworks.Excellent project management skills with proficiency in project management software (e.G., Plan view, PMP, PRINCE2).Experience with Operation Risk Management tools (e.G., CRMP, CERA) is highly desirable.Fluency in English is required.Every day, Lonza's products and services have a positive impact on millions of people.#J-18808-Ljbffr
